The Janome Satin Stitch Foot (otherwise known as the “F” Foot) is an excellent multi-purpose foot for sewing that requires precision and clear visibility. The foot has markings on the reinforced clear plastic that will guide you through all your sewing. The foot has a variety of uses such as; decorative stitching, monogramming, appliqué, and cut work.

What machine settings do I need to get the most out of my 9mm Satin Stitch Foot?

 

  • Stitch: Any
  • Needle Position: Any
  • Thread Tension: 4~5 or “Auto”
  • Stitch Length: 0.5 ~ 4 (depending on the thickness of the material and style of stitch desired)
  • Stitch Width: 0 ~ 9 (depending on the desired stitch look)
  • Foot Pressure: 2~3 (on machines with a 0~3 adjustment) or 4~7 (on machines with a 0~7 adjustment)

This Janome F (Satin Stitch) Foot will fit the following sewing machine models:

Janome: Skyline S5, Skyline S7, Skyline S9, MC 8200 QC, MC 8900 QCP, MC9400QCP, MC 9900, MC 12000, MC14000, MC 15000
Elna: 680, 730, 760, 860, 900
