Warranty for Sewing Machines


You can be completely confident that your sewing machine has been manufactured using the very latest technology, whether it is mechanical, electronic, or computerised. Obviously, at this stage, with a brand new appliance, the possibility of breakdown seems remote, and we sincerely trust that it will remain so. Equally, we are all now aware of the high call out costs for electrical appliances. Fortunately the Elna reputation has been built upon the high quality of our products and full after sales support. Just in Case, Your brand new purchase comes with a limited TWO years electrical and FIVE years mechanical Warranty*, which will cover both parts and labour, just in case. Please make sure that you register your new machine so that we can begin the service support straight away.

Don’t forget, send us your registration card as soon as you can.

Elna Presses have a 12 month standard warranty.


All our warranty repairs are carried out by Elna’s own highly trained Technicians.

So, limited warranty means:

The guarantee does not cover:

  • Misuse, damage or interference with by an unauthorised third party.
  • Service cost arising from incorrect usage of the controls of the product in accordance with the instructions.
  • Household electrical faults and power surges.
  • Corrosion, normal wear and tear.
  • Ironing press cover and padding foam.
  • Accessories including overlocker loopers.

It is acknowledged that Elna products are manufactured for domestic use and that in the event of the Elna product being used for commercial applications then the guarantee is limited to 3 months.
