Fabric pieces are sewn wrong sides together with one piece folding over by approximately 8mm. When opened out, the flat felling foot will guide and hold down the fabric and sew over the fold creating two parallel lines of stitching and a secure concealed seam.Â
On 5mm front loading machines use a centre-straight stitch.
On 7mm top loading models, use a straight stitch on width setting of 2.0 [2mm].Â
