Furthermore, with this genuine Janome Adjustable Blind Hem Foot, you will have perfect stitch formation every time for your garment construction or craft project. This foot is a must have in a sewing kit.

What settings would I use to sew a blind hem on my sewing machine?:

  • Stitch: Blind hem stitch
  • Thread tension: 1 – 4
  • Stitch length: 2 – 4
  • Stitch width: 4 – 6
  1. Turn the guide screw and move the sliding guide next to the folded edge.
  2. Sew, guiding the folded edge along the sliding guide.
  3. For a professional looking hem fold the fabric, reducing the lip to a scant 0.3 cm (1/8″). As you sew, the right hand stitch will fall off the fabric edge forming a chain stitch.
