Tips for Using the Straight Stitch Foot on a Janome Sewing Machine

Supplies Required:

  • Janome Sewing Machine
  • Straight Stitch Foot
  • Fabric
  • Sewing threads and bobbin

Tips:

  1. Set your stitch pattern to a center straight stitch.
  2. Clip the Straight Stitch Foot onto the sewing machine’s shank.
  3. Set your stitch length to 2.2 ~ 2.6 (depending on the fabric thickness)
  4. Lock your row of stitching at the start and end (with either a locking stitch or a reverse stitch) 

You are now ready to tackle perfectly straight stitching on your next project.
