Unlike untreated or standardly waxed thread, the invisible and virtually impenetrable coating from the Thread Magic protects the thread from damaging UV rays, thereby ensuring the thread’s vivid colour for longer. While the moisture barrier prevents the growth of mould and mildew.

When should I use Thread Magic?

Hand Stitching:
By pre-coating your thread with Thread Magic, you can easily thread the needle, glide through the fabric and when it comes time to cut the thread, this coating prevents fraying.

Bobbin Thread:
Position the Thread Magic as the final thread point before the bobbin winder and wind a full bobbin.

Top Thread:
Position the Thread Magic in the threading channel just below the take up lever. Please note, it is not recommended to coat the thread prior to the upper tension disks.
