The Lotus is elna’s iconic model first launched in 1968. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, we released this legendary sewing machine with a broader choice of stitches and in a striking elna-red finish.
The Legendary Elna Lotus is Back!
The new Elna Lotus is the ultimate compact sewing machine, combining maximum sewing pleasure with minimal effort. Its sturdy flaps help to protect the machine and create a handy, generous sewing table at the same time. An exclusive integrated upper spool mechanism is specially designed to pop into view for threading, but to retract into the machine itself for easy portability.
Everything about this machine is surprisingly compact and extremely practical: the large surface of the left needle. Where other machines end, hanging fabric and the seam can be forgiven, since the new Lotus offers an ergonomic seating surface and plenty of room for your sewing project.
The new Elna Lotus is perfectly portable, and ideal for serious sewists who like to travel and attend guild meetings, as well as newer sewists who need to store their machines when not in use.
