Janome MyLock 454D Sailing Line

The Janome MyLock 454D is one of the newest overlocker to join the Janome Fleet, and oh my, it is fantastic. Offering all of the standard conveniences that make overlocking easy (and fun), like lay-in tensions, a powerful 1300RPM motor, and quick threading, and some of Janome latest innovations, including their new 8 piece feed dog system that enables multiple layers of fabric to glide under the foot with ease, and their specialised Hanenite rubber feet (along with its internal metal frame) ensures the smoothest overlocking experience on the market. While their new included presser foot has added texture on the underside to assist in non-slippage of fabrics. 

Not only is there a color coded diagram but the Janome 454D utilizes drop in tension dials. These simple additions mean you’ll be sewing up a storm in no time!

The MyLock 454D includes essential features for simple overlocking. The differential feed system of two feed dogs virtually eliminates puckered edges on woven fabrics and stretched edges on knits. Its unique rolled hem conversion feature eliminates the need to change the needle plate, foot, or tension setting for rolled hemming. Colour-coded guides are easy to follow for 3, or 4 thread overlocking.
