AcuFeed Quilt Piecing Foot (OD)
Janome’s AcuFeed Flex system has a variety of feet attachments, one being the Quilt Piecing Foot. This foot has a seam guide on the right and is mainly used for patchwork piecing with ¼ inch seams. The foot has an extra oval cut-out section which allows for the needle position to be moved further to the right, to obtain a scant ¼ inch seam. The AcuFeed system is ideal for piecing, as the upper feed and your machine feed dogs are set to come together at the same time, then meticulously feed the fabric layers without any fabric slippage. Also, this foot can be for narrow 6mm seams in dressmaking or for top stitching a ¼ inch from a seam line. We use the top stitching technique in our below project.
