Janome Zigzag foot ‘A’

The Zigzag Foot is the most common sewing foot is already on your machine, so when you take it out of the box. It has a vertical and horizontal slot to accommodate needle movement in either direction, and you’ll use it almost ALL the time

Janome Zipper foot ‘E’

You can find zippers in all areas of craft, clothing, accessories as well as home decor. While there are several variations of zipper feet available, your machine comes with the common Zipper ‘E’ Foot. It has a clip-bar on both the left and right, allowing you to move the foot on either side of the zipper teeth and get as close as possible to either side allowing for a smooth finish.

Janome Satin Stitch foot ‘F’

The ‘F’ Foot is designed with a clear short nose for a better finish on decorative projects. You can add a beautiful satin stitch along the hem or use any one of the many applique stitches to attach patches as well as accent clothes and bags.

Janome Automatic Buttonhole foot ‘R’

Now you can do a buttonhole in one easy step, unlike older machines that take up to 4x longer! The ‘R’ foot uses your button to size up the perfect buttonhole and frames it automatically. So, all you need to do is lower the button sew lever, and away you go! For tricky to sew fabrics, there’s also a stabiliser attachment available.

Additional spool pin

The additional spool pin goes into the small slot on the top of the machine and is commonly used for twin needlework. This gives you two parallel stitches on top and a zigzag underneath, giving your hems a professional look as well as great-looking decorative work.

Janome Bobbins

Most modern machines nowadays use plastic bobbins because metal bobbins can damage your machine. This little spool forms the stitch underneath, and no, you can never have too many bobbins!

Janome Needles

The average sewist uses a size 14/90 sharp needle for most sewing, but there are many types of needles out there. It’s also recommended that you change your needle every 6 – 8  sewing hours because they can become blunt.

Janome Spool Caps

Your machine comes with spool caps to use on the horizontal spool pin so your thread will wind off correctly. The spool cap holds the reel in place so that it doesn’t dance around on the spool pin and cause you tension issues. You will get a small and large spool cap, but we recommend using the small spool cap for as it doesn’t interfere with the thread delivery.
