A cutting-edge new foot, the HD Roller Foot can easily manipulate materials like leather and vinyl that are prone to catch on a standard foot. When using this foot, the roller grips the material while turning, facilitating the feeding of materials like leather and vinyl, and the base of the needle is easily visible, simplifying your work. Additionally, stitching curves are simple.

When sewing thick piping, the needle is placed directly next to the cord to avoid interference from the foot. The piping cord might have a diameter of 17mm or less.

The roller may be retracted to the left side, which is a UNIQUE Janome feature that creates room around the needle and makes threading simpler.
