Janome Australia is excited to introduce sewists across the country to the latest development in domestic cover stitching, the Janome CoverPro 3000 Professional. One of the most advanced cover stitch machines on the market, the Cover Pro 3000P boasts features traditionally seen on only industrial and combination machines. Building on the plethora of stitch functions on its CoverPro predecessor, the Janome Cover Pro 2000CPX, this 5 thread machine incorporates the ability to create a Top Coverstitch Stitch! This eye-catching stitch can be used to provide stability to a hem and highlight seams, pockets, necklines, and hems.
However, the improvements have not stopped there! With plenty of space to the right of the needles, this cover hem model can be quickly and easily set between thick and fine fabrics using the Fine Mode Switching Lever without the need to greatly adjust the tension dials.
Speaking of the needles, the Cover Pro 3000P has a built-in needle threader! Simply slide the switch to the desired needle and pull down the threader for easy threading.
As clarity and visibility are crucial for perfect stitching, Janome has incorporated the Janome HighlightTM LED Lighting System into this machine. This retractable lighting system illuminates fabric and needle area, ‘highlighting’ thread contrasts. A welcome feature for those late-night sewing sessions.
Best of all is the sound, (or more to the point, the reduction of noise). Utilising ball bearing sleeves on the driveshafts, the JANOME CoverPro 3000 P smoothly turns over allowing for a pleasant sewing sound and long service life.
