Automatic Buttonhole Foot (R Foot) + Stabilizer Plate
Janome’s automatic buttonhole foot has been around for over 30 years. The buttonhole size is automatically set by placing a button into the button holder on the foot. In 2010, the stabilizer plate was created. Attach the automatic buttonhole foot R to the stabilizer plate, the fabric is positioned between the foot and the plate, which allows the machine to feed various kinds of fabric and uneven layers, more smoothly; instead of eating the fabric or causing the needle to stick in position. Also, good for sewing buttonholes on tight areas like cuffs, waistbands and speciality fabrics, such as lightweight knits, vinyl, leather and woollens. In 2011, an adjusting screw was added to the automatic buttonhole foot R, this adjustment screw allows you to lengthen or shorten the size of the buttonhole, to suit your fabric and button shape.
